Parry Sound Halloweenn Tournament Rules
- This is a non-contact tournament
- Intoxicated players will be removed from the ice
- The referee’s decision will be CAHA rules
- Player will play for one team only in their age group. (Offending team will be assessed the loss)
- Any suspensions will be looked at by the tournament committee
- Centre ice has been removed for two line passes.
- All games are three 15 minute periods. (Last minute stop time unless more than 1 goal margin.
- In Semi-Final and Final games, if games are tied after 3 periods. Teams will ice 3 players and a goalie for 2 minute stop time NO SUBS.
- Goalies cannot be pulled in overtime
- If tie still exists, teams will be reduced to 2 skaters and a goalie until a winner is determined. NO SUBS
- In the event of a penalty in overtime, teams will always remain with a minimum of 2 skaters and a goalie. The non-offending team will add a skater and the penalized player will return to the ice at the end of the expiration of the penalty. At first whistle teams will revert back to playing 2 skaters and a goalie. (original 2)
- Games will not start with out a minimum of 5 players and a goalie or 6 players. The offending team will immediately be penalized 1 goal and 1 goal for every 3 minutes there after. If not enough players are iced at the end of the 1st period, offending team is assessed the lose.
- As per the Town of Parry Sound, (No Alcohol is permitted in dressing rooms or lobby, also No smoking bylaw in Arena is in effect!.
- All teams must be ready to play 10 minutes before their scheduled time.
- No carded players are allowed.
- Point system - 10 Win - 5 Tie - 0 Loss
- Over 35 Division. Knee high Shots, Infraction is a penalty.
- Determining the Division Winner - Points then Head to Head then GF & GA then Penalty Minutes then coin flip.
- Determining the Wildcard - Points then Head to Head then GF & GA then Penalty Minutes then coin flip.
- Protests are to happen within 15 minutes of the end of game.
- $200 Cash protest fee refundable if won
